"Several years ago I travelled with the choir to Italy and what a trip it was. We landed in Milan and toured the city. That evening we held an impromptu casual performance for the dinner crowd at our hotel. e set off down the Adriatic side of Italy, visiting not only the well-known places, like Venice (and what fun we had there), but also small towns not on the tourists’ radar (swimming in the ocean and shopping, we loved the “saldis” (sales). Some of our most memorable performances were held in the small towns where the visits had been arranged by choir members who originally came from them. We were treated like family and many of us still talk with affection of our stay and the hospitality we were given.
Then Pompeii and Napoli and up the Amalfi coast to Sorrento. The visit to Capri stays in my mind, such a delightful place. We tasted fresh lemons the region is famous for and of course the Limoncello. We tasted the different olive oils from freshly grown olives in the region. Visiting the evening market where they close the streets and we wandered, buying the fresh fruit and then presenting it for breakfast the next morning. During our travels we enjoyed singing in small towns in our western gear; have you ever heard ‘Ghost Riders’ sung in Italian…
A visit to Italy is not complete without a visit to the capital, Rome. Site seeing is at its very best here with dinner al fresco and Danilo getting out his accordion afterwards. He played some of his favourite songs and a passer-by even gave him some money, well, he is a true entertainer. These memories are so very precious to us. As a non-Italian I experienced not only the beauty of Italy, but the hospitality of the Italian people, the fabulous food and of course the wine!! We threw coins in the Trevi Fountain and all of us made the same wish: To come back to Italia. Arrivederci Roma!"

Crescendo Choir ha sopravissuto molte intemperie. Ma, eccoci qua sempre pronti a ripartire. Sempre con la grinta di crescere e riassaporare il successo e le esperienze del passato per arricchire il presente. ar parte di un gruppo corale e' un'arricchimento di culture diverse, di una famiglia allargata e ricordi che sono una piccola parte di noi. Sopratutto quando il ricordo e' sempre vivido e magico nel preciso istante che lo ricordiamo.
E tutto questo riaccende la fiamma di rimanere insieme,crescere e rifare le stesse esperienze. Nel lontano 2007 Crescendo Choir porta una ventata di simpatia e si fa conoscere in alcune regioni italiane. C’erano momenti indimenticabili: come l'arrivo a Sessano (paese nativo di Lucia e Mike Ciccaglione) dove siamo accolti festosamente da compaesani; il pranzo da Re, all'Hotel Europa,Isernia; la serata sotto il caldo cielo di Caldari, Abbruzzo; il meraviglioso risveglio in Sorrento, Campania; gli scavi di Pompei; ecc. La lista e' lunga.
Condividere la comune passione del canto e approffittare dell'occasione per intrecciare nuove conoscenze e amicizie e' una gioia indescrivibile. Crescendo Choir e la sua miscellazione di canzoni: dal folclore al classic; dall'italiano al dialetto; e con una punta d'inglese che eleva l'unione di questo gruppo! Concludo dicendo: Rimanere insieme e crescere insieme porta lontano.
